Windows Installation
Download the installer
Download CellSentry-X.X.X-Setup.exe from GitHub Releases
Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded .exe file to start installation. Follow the setup wizard — the defaults work great for most users.
First launch
CellSentry will download the AI model (~1 GB) on first launch. This only happens once. After that, everything runs offline.
Troubleshooting
macOS says the app "is damaged" or "can't be opened"
This happens because CellSentry is unsigned. Open Terminal and run: xattr -cr /Applications/CellSentry\ Beta.app — then open the app again. See the macOS installation section above for details.
Model download is slow
The AI model (~1 GB) is downloaded on first launch. If downloads are slow, try using a VPN or downloading during off-peak hours. The download supports resuming — if it gets interrupted, it will pick up where it left off.
CellSentry doesn't detect my Excel file
Make sure you've dropped the file into the app window. CellSentry reads .xlsx and .xls files via drag-and-drop.
High memory usage
The AI model requires approximately 1-2 GB of RAM when loaded. If your system has limited memory, the rule engine still works without the AI model for basic formula auditing.
